What’s the problem with my eyes?
Thursday, 23. February 2012
So, I hadn’t really thought about this, but yesterday I realized that it is happening to me alot. I don’t want to go to the doctor because four out of five times that I do, (for anything,) they say it’s stress, something they know of but can’t help, or nothing. It’s a lot of uneccessary trouble for my family to take me out of school, have a parent go with me, the time, and the money, so if anyone could give me some help, I would greatly appreciate it.
Last semester, I would always be tired in my second and third hour classes. At least, that’s what I thought it was. I wouldn’t be able to keep my eyes open because they kept crossing and going blurry. None of my classmates ever watched it happen, but my teachers see it sometimes. They think that I’m just dozing off and not paying attention, but I am fully aware of what is happening! I can’t concentrate though because I am trying to focus my eyes. Closing them is one of the only things that helps. I had originally thought that this was happening because I was tired, because it was atthe same time of day almost everyday, no matter what I ate. (And I have insulin resistance so I wondered if that had anything to do with it.) So yeah, it happens almost everyday between 9:15 and 10:30, and only lasts for about twenty minutes. Yesterday however it happened about a half an hour after I ate lunch (about 1:45). I am really worried because I usually, it doesn’t matter to me what is wrong, so long as I know wat it is. The answer isn’t as scary as the empty question.
Thank you for any help or shared stories!
Probably your insulin but maybe you should go to the optometrist just in case because you never know it can get worse. It probably is stress. Hope you feel better.
